WYOMISSING, Pa. — As part of the Penn State Berks Sustainability Film Series, the college will host a screening of the film “River Blue,” at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 8, in the Multipurpose Room in the Perkins Student Center. This event is free and open to the public.
This groundbreaking documentary, narrated by actor Jason Priestley, examines the destruction of our rivers, its effect on humanity, and the solutions that inspire hope for a sustainable future. According to the website, “River Blue brings awareness to the destruction of some of the world’s most vital rivers through the manufacturing of our clothing, but will also act as a demand for significant change in the textile industry from the top fashion brands that can make a difference.”
Future film screenings will include "Half-Mile, Upwind, On Foot" on April 29.
