Berks hosts 'Not Another Assault' lecture for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

WYOMISSING, Pa. — In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, Penn State Berks hosted a lecture titled “Not Another Assault" on April 18 in the Perkins Student Center.

Speaker, educator and researcher Bonny Shade said she believes that action rooted in education can change the world. Shade has more than 12 years of higher education experience with a deep focus on fraternity and sorority life, risk management and accountability. She earned her master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a certificate in design thinking from the UNC Charlotte, where she served the associate director for fraternity and sorority life for 10 years.
